Today, more than 2 million visitors a year visit the sites where the first inhabitants of our species created their transcendental Rock Art.

Around 910, an abbey was founded that was to become the largest in Christianity in the Middle Ages: the Abbey of Cluny.

The main objective of its construction was to serve as a waterway for communication and transport to solve the problem of isolation to which the Castilian and Leonese plateau was subjected.
